CineStewardYour data
Download everything the CineSteward server keeps about you, or remove parts of it, without deleting your account. Each one asks you to sign in: your username and password, and your two-step code if it's on.
What's in the download
One file (JSON), readable by people and other apps: your account and its settings, your signed-in devices and recent account events, what your friends see of you, your friends and the people you blocked, your comments, reactions and recommendations, shows you watch together and lists you keep with friends, invite links, your calendar link, your messages with the CineSteward team, your suggestions for the app's words, your pictures, and your synced library with a list of the earlier versions kept. Of other people, only what you see of them in the app: their username next to what you share with them. Your password is never in it: the server doesn't have it, only a hash.
Your library itself is on your own device: export it in the app under Settings → Library, as a spreadsheet or for Letterboxd.
Remove some of your data
What's removed is gone from the server straight away, and from its backups within 14 days.
Change what you share
In the app, under Settings → Account:
- Privacy → Private profile: friends see only your name, the year you joined and the line about you.
- Privacy → Share my activity: off, and friends don't see what you watch as you watch it.
- Only you, under Who sees it in a title's details: friends never see that title.
- Keep my library the same on my computers: off, and your library stays on your devices only.
